From Axelar to XCM, Wormhole to Snowbridge, the new Polkadot Explorer tracks transactions across 100+ connected chains, with seamless access to analytics, developer APIs, and cross-chain forensics.

Whether you're a DeFi protocol building on Moonbeam, a wallet product integrating XCMP, or a DAO on Astar tracking bridge inflows - this release delivers a new intelligence layer across the entire Polkadot ecosystem.

As part of our proposal, our remit was to:

• Integrate three key parachains: Moonbeam, Hydration, and Asset Hub

• Track cross-chain transfers over XCMP and Snowbridge

• Ingest Polkadot-related data from interoperability protocols such as Wormhole and Axelar

The goal was to provide teams with advanced analytics and users with simpler tools to trace cross-chain transactions into and out of the Polkadot ecosystem. We're grateful to the Velocity Labs team and the community reviewers for supporting this project.

The Range Polkadot Explorer

The Polkadot Explorer delivers real-time, cross-chain transaction tracking and historical analytics for the Polkadot Relay Chain, Asset Hub, and two leading parachains - Moonbeam and Hydration.

Any cross-chain transactions over XCMP, Snowbridge, Wormhole and Axelar are being tracked as per our initial proposal. But during the course of the project, we added in support for LayerZero and Hyperlane, who came online in recent weeks.

As with all Range explorers, cross-chain transactions are parsed and unified into a single view, allowing users to trace both legs of any transaction - including multi-hop transfers that span ecosystems. Traditionally, users would have to view each leg of their cross-chain transaction in different, chain-specifc explorers. 

The Range Polkadot Explorer also features detailed analytics, including:

• Top assets moving into and out of Polkadot

• Top wallet addresses by volume and activity

• Top counterparty networks

• Breakdown of volume per bridge

• Developer access via Range API

This data can be used to monitor liquidity flows, build dashboards, automate risk flags, or simply trace where your transfer went.

Integrated with Range Trail: Forensics, tracing, and wallet intelligence

We've also integrated all of these monitored cross-chain transactions into Range Trail, our cross-chain forensics and intelligence engine used by teams across Solana, Ethereum, Stellar, and beyond.

With Range Trail, users and teams in Polkadot can now:

• Trace wallet activity across Polkadot and non-Polkadot chains

• Analyze transaction flows, counterparties, and behaviors

• View cross-chain movement via graph visualization

• Investigate potential laundering, phishing, or anomalous transfers

Range Trail is free to use, with no login required for basic functionality.

Range x Polkadot: Levelling up security, risk management and compliance

While this initial integration includes three parachains and multiple bridge protocols, we're hoping to scale up our coverage and featureset in the near future. Our team is currently in active conversations with projects and community members across Polkadot, exploring deeper collaboration opportunities.

Looking forward, we're also assessing how we can bring our full security and monitoring stack to Polkadot, including:

• Transaction Simulation APIs - preview token flows, governance actions, and wallet interactions before signing a transaction

• Real-Time Risk Scoring - screen transactions for malicious patterns, flagged addresses, or anomalous behavior

• Real-Time Monitoring and Alerting - track and get real-time onchain activity alerts for liquidity shifts, transaction failures, or security threats to your Polkadot app.

These systems already help protect billions in value across Solana and Cosmos - and we believe they could significantly strengthen app-level and bridge-layer security in Polkadot.
