Range is partnering with Immunefi, the leader in Web 3 bug bounties, to strengthen the security of the Cosmos ecosystem.
Bug bounties are a foundational part of any cybersecurity apparatus, along with audits, threat prevention, and monitoring. Each layer of the defensive stack is complementary to the other, and together, they make for strong security.
Currently, the Cosmos ecosystem is lacking in custom-built security tools, including dedicated bug bounty programs. All software, even the most well-designed by the world’s top teams, suffers from implementation flaws and bugs that engineers can miss. Bug bounties leverage the collective intelligence of white hat hackers worldwide, incentivizing them to report vulnerabilities in Cosmos projects such that they effectively become a last line of defense.
