This Privacy Policy explains how Range collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our websites (range.org, app.range.org, explorer.money, docs.range.org), use our products and services, or otherwise interact with us.

If you are an enterprise customer, additional terms governing your data are set out in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which is available on request and supersedes this policy where they conflict.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account and contact information. Name, email address, company, role, and password (stored hashed). Provided when you sign up for an account, request a demo, subscribe to a newsletter, or contact us.

Service usage information. Activity on our platform: accounts and wallets you connect, transactions and counterparties surfaced by the platform, configuration choices, API usage, and audit-log events.

Financial connectivity data. When you connect a bank account through Plaid, Plaid provides Range with the data you authorize, including account identifiers, balances, and transaction history. Plaid's handling of your data is governed by Plaid's own privacy policy at plaid.com/legal.

Onchain data. When you connect a wallet, custodian, or exchange account, Range reads publicly observable onchain activity and account-level data made available by your custodian or exchange API.

Technical data. IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referring URLs, and similar telemetry collected by our websites.

Marketing engagement data. Email opens, clicks, event registrations, and content downloads.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve our products and services.

• Authenticate you and secure your account.

• Communicate with you about service updates, security notices, and (where permitted) marketing.

• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

• Comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

• Generate aggregated and de-identified analytics that inform product development.

3. Cookies and analytics

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. The following analytics and advertising services may set cookies or collect data when you visit our websites:

• Google Analytics. Website usage analytics.

• LinkedIn Insight Tag. Measurement of LinkedIn advertising and visitor analytics.

• X (Twitter) Pixel. Measurement of X advertising and visitor analytics.

You can opt out of non-essential cookies through the cookie banner on our sites or through your browser settings. Most browsers also support a "Do Not Track" signal; we honor user choices made through our cookie banner.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate Range or as required by law:

• Service providers and sub-processors. Cloud infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, customer support, and similar providers that act on our behalf under written contracts.

• Integration partners you authorize. Custodians, exchanges, banks (via Plaid), and compliance vendors you choose to connect, only for the data flows you enable.

• Legal and safety. Law enforcement, regulators, courts, and other authorities where we are legally required to disclose, or where disclosure is necessary to protect Range, our customers, or the public.

• Corporate transactions. A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.

We do not sell personal information.

5. International data transfers

Range operates internationally. Information may be processed in jurisdictions other than the one in which you live, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for international transfers.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and similar regimes), you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.

• Correct inaccurate information.

• Request deletion of your information.

• Object to or restrict certain processing.

• Receive your information in a portable format.

• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. Security

We ensure that the personal information collected is subject to appropriate security measures.

We only keep the strictly necessary information for a limited period of time and as long as is necessary for the relevant purpose - and also for as long as it is necessary to comply with legal obligations, laws or regulations, which may set a minimum period for which we keep the users personal information.

9. Children

Range is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@range.org and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notified to account holders by email.
